On February 23rd, visiting students and their teacher-chaperone from Central High School's sister school in Grenoble, France enjoyed an opportunity to meet with City of Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton. Students from Lycee André Argouges had the chance to speak with Mayor Stanton about topics of mutual interest – water policy, international relations, and current political events in both the U.S. and France.

Lights of the World 2016 will be launching November 18, 2016 and take place at Rawhide Western Town at Wild Horse Pass until January 28, 2017. Lights of the World, is a unique international lantern arts festival that combines the age-old Chinese tradition of lantern festivals with modern cutting-edge technology and lights.

The Grenoble Committee in collaboration with the DAC Committee hosted a Dinner on Sunday October 9, in order to raise money for their trip to Grenoble France. The Delegation will be traveling to Grenoble this November in order to present at the International Disability Convention. The delegation will also be receiving an award for all of their handwork in bringing awareness about disabilities to the Phoenix Community.
The dinner was hosted at Voila French Bistro in Scottsdale where attendees dinned in an intimate setting and ate French delicacies. Phoenix Sister Cities would like to thank all those who attended and showed their support to the committees. Below are some images from the event.
